My
name is Butterscotch, but everyone calls me “Buddy.” I make no
bones about being an American shorthair. I belonged to Daddy’s
Mama, but when she went into the nursing home in 1996, I moved
into Pentreath House. I enjoy snuggling on the couch, eating,
and playing with my brother, Peanut. However, since I am
somewhere in my late teens, I don’t have the energy to keep up
with the others. |

My name is Peanut, and I am a Tonkinese,
but everyone thinks I’m Siamese because I have a regal air about
me as befits the King of Siam. I came to Pentreath House in 2001
following my recovery from being frozen during the horrible
winter. I like to explore my domain and check for any dangers
in the backyard or on the porch. I love to travel, go visiting,
and being a therapy cat at the nursing home. I will deign to
come and visit you, but don’t expect me to snuggle on your
lap—that I reserve for Mama.

My name is Princess Victorian Lace—that’s
what’s listed on my pedigree papers, but you may call me
Princess. I came to Pentreath House in 2003 when the cat rescue
lady took me from a horrible nightmare. I sometimes exhibit
erratic behavior, but I’m too beautiful a Snowshoe Siamese for
anyone to get rid of me. I may go flying to hide when I hear
the doorbell, but my curiosity gets the better of me. I also
like to inspect my bedrooms to see what the guests are doing.
You may pet me if you can approach me.
